Dr. David Baum began his medical career after graduating from Columbia University’s Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program and earning his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in 2000. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and a fellowship in Geriatrics at Mount Sinai.
In 2005, Dr. Baum joined a private internal medicine practice in Highland Park, Illinois, with a focus in geriatric care. He returned to the East Coast in 2007, continuing his practice in Connecticut and expanding his expertise to care for adult patients of all ages. In 2017, Dr. Baum became a partner-owner of Concierge Physicians of Westport.
Dr. Baum emphasizes personalized care, disease prevention, and wellness. Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he is an active member of the Connecticut State Medical Society and Fairfield County Medical Society. He has consistently been recognized as a Top Doctor by Fairfield County and Connecticut Magazine for the past ten years.
Dr. Baum lives in Ridgefield with his wife, Tesa, their daughters, Avery and Harley, and their Goldendoodles, Moe and Rue. He enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities, and life’s simple pleasures.
