Dr. Mini was born and raised in Venezuela where she received her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela Medical School in Caracas. Subsequently, she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Norwalk Hospital, affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine hospital where she was also an associate chief resident.
With over 20 years in practice, Dr. Mini who is board certified, has acquired a wealth of experience from both teaching students and caring for patients. As a physician-educator, she has helped shape the lives of the next generation of physicians at several teaching hospitals including Columbia University’s School of Medicine, The University of Vermont Larner School of Medicine, and most recently teaching medical students, residents, and interns at Greater Danbury Community Health Center, an outpatient clinic affiliated with Danbury Hospital. Dr. Mini’s clinical prowess is not limited to teaching as she has also spent many years in private practice locally, including Glenville Medical Group in Greenwich, Copps Hill Family Medicine in Ridgefield, and Nuvance Primary Care in New Canaan.
Her desire for knowledge continues as she recently completed a graduate study in Public Health. With special interest in Global Health, she has focused her attention to improving public health in Uganda.
Dr. Mini’s holistic approach to medicine includes emotional wellness, restorative health, and active aging. She has a knack for combining warmth, humility, and an engaging sense of humor in all her patient relationships. She is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and conversational French.
In her free time, Dr. Mini spends time with her four children, traveling, and is an avid reader.
