Dr. Tyrrell Jenkins brings more than a decade of experience in internal medicine, leadership, and hospital-based care to Concierge Physicians of Westport. Board certified in Internal Medicine, he is passionate about delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care with particular interest in cardiovascular, metabolic health, disease prevention, and longevity. His philosophy centers on partnership: “I believe the best care begins with listening, and the strongest outcomes happen when patients are informed, empowered, and supported over time.”
Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Jenkins built a thriving outpatient panel as a primary care physician at Optum/CareMount Medical in Westchester. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief of Hospital Medicine at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He also holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University.
Originally from New Orleans, Dr. Jenkins lives in New Canaan, is married and has two dogs. An avid traveler who has visited over 50 countries, he enjoys fly fishing, fitness, and the outdoors.
