Dr. Jill Denowitz was raised in Westport, Connecticut, and is a proud graduate of the Westport public schools. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from Cornell University, then went on to receive her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Denowitz completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Primary Care at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. Following her residency, she served as an attending physician in the Emergency Department at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center.
In 1994, Dr. Denowitz returned to Westport and joined Internal Medicine Associates of Westport, becoming the practice’s first female primary care physician. In 2017, she became a founding partner and co-owner of Concierge Physicians of Westport, where she continues to provide thoughtful, personalized care to her patients.
Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Denowitz is an active member of the Connecticut State Medical Society, the Fairfield County Medical Association, and the Women’s Medical Association of Fairfield County. She has been consistently recognized as a Top Doctor by Connecticut Magazine and Castle Connolly for several consecutive years.
Dr. Denowitz has extensive experience in internal medicine. Her clinical areas of interest include heart disease prevention, cancer screening, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and weight management.
She lives in Westport with her husband, David. Together, they are the proud parents of Lauren, Steven, and Jonathan — all graduates of the University of Michigan. Outside of work,
Dr. Denowitz enjoys playing pickleball, riding her Peloton, and spending quality time with her family and close friends.
