Dr. Robert Teltser grew up in Millburn, New Jersey. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Emory University and his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency through a Columbia Presbyterian program at Overlook Hospital.
Following residency, Dr. Teltser moved to New York City, practicing Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. There, he served as Director of Medical House Staff for the North Division and as Associate Medical Director for the Stuyvesant Square Drug and Alcohol Detox and Rehabilitation Programs.
In 2007, Dr. Teltser relocated to Connecticut and joined Internal Medicine Associates of Westport. He became a partner and co-owner of Concierge Physicians of Westport in 2017. Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he focuses on preventive medicine, men’s health, nephrology, and cardiovascular disease prevention.
He lives in Westport with his wife, Martel, and their two children, Jory and Remy. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor sports, music, and exploring his passion for food.
